Terms and conditions

1. Scope

These general terms and conditions of sale govern all sales concluded on volterie.com between the seller (below) and the customer, consumer or professional, with a delivery address in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. Placing an order constitutes full acceptance of these terms.

2. Seller

Storea Fournier C&L SNC — General Partnership (SNC — Société en nom collectif) — CHE-101.156.800 — Route d'Ursy 7, 1678 Siviriez, Switzerland.

3. Prices and VAT

All prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF), inclusive of Swiss VAT at the standard rate (8.1%). The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of order confirmation. Prices match Victorinox AG's recommended retail prices, with no mark-up.

4. Order and payment

The order is validated upon full payment. Accepted payment methods are listed on the <a href="/en/moyens-de-paiement">Payment methods</a> page. An order confirmation is emailed immediately after payment.

5. Shipping

Free shipping to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Delivery times and terms are described on the <a href="/en/livraison">Shipping</a> page. Orders ship Monday to Friday, excluding cantonal and federal holidays.

6. Retention of title

Delivered goods remain the seller's property until the price is paid in full, in accordance with article 715 of the Swiss Civil Code. The transfer of risk, however, takes place upon handover to the customer or to a carrier appointed by the customer.

7. Return right (30 days)

The customer benefits from a commercial return right of 30 days from delivery, without needing to justify the decision. Detailed terms on the <a href="/en/retours-remboursements">Returns & refunds</a> page. This right is in addition to — and does not replace — the statutory warranties.

8. Warranties

All products are covered by the statutory warranty for defects under the Swiss Code of Obligations (art. 197 ff., 2 years). Where applicable, the Victorinox AG international manufacturer's warranty also applies. Details and procedure on the <a href="/en/garantie">Warranty</a> page.

9. Liability

The seller is liable for direct damages resulting from non-performance or defective performance of the contract, within the limits set by Swiss law. Liability is excluded in cases of force majeure, misuse of the product, or fault of the customer.

10. Data protection

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy, in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

11. Mediation and dispute resolution

Before initiating any legal action, the customer is invited to contact customer service at [email protected] to seek an amicable solution. If no such solution can be reached, the customer may refer the matter to a consumer mediation body (for example the Fédération romande des consommateurs — frc.ch — for French-speaking Switzerland) before applying to the competent court.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

This contract is governed by Swiss law, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the seller's registered office in Siviriez (Canton of Fribourg), subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
