Product details
The EcoFlow 800W Alternator Charger draws surplus energy from a vehicle's alternator to top up a portable power station while you drive. Rated at 800 W of continuous output, it charges a compatible power station up to eight times faster than a 12 V cigarette lighter socket, delivering around 1 kWh every 1.3 hours. Its built-in DC-DC converter, gallium nitride (GaN) power stage and integrated 125 A fuse keep the housing compact at 2.3 kg while covering most van, camper and overland use cases.
- 800 W maximum output, roughly 1 kWh every 1.3 hours of driving — a full top-up takes a single road leg instead of a whole day.
- Three operating modes: charging (alternator to power station), reverse charging (power station back to the starter or house battery) and maintenance (low-current trickle for parked vehicles).
- Gallium nitride power stage handles high thermal loads without derating and helps the enclosure stay light at 2.3 kg.
- Under-voltage protection cuts the draw automatically so the starter battery is never pulled below a safe cranking level.
- 125 A rated inline fuse and dedicated ignition-sense wiring make the installation compliant with typical 12 V and 24 V camper DC systems.
- Works as a jump starter for a flat vehicle battery, and can top up a camper house-battery bank of up to 7.2 kWh from a compatible power station.
