Payment methods

Volterie offers secure payment methods tailored to the Swiss market. All transactions are protected by the most advanced security technologies available.

Accepted payment methods

• TWINT — payment through your TWINT app by following the steps displayed at checkout.
• Visa — credit or debit card with 3D Secure authentication for enhanced security.
• Mastercard — credit or debit card with 3D Secure authentication for enhanced security.

Payment security

The website and checkout connection uses TLS encryption. Card details are transmitted to the selected payment provider and are not stored on Volterie servers. The card issuer may require 3D Secure authentication.

How the payment process works

The payment process is simple and straightforward: 1) Choose your products and add them to the cart. 2) Review your cart and click “Checkout”. 3) Enter your contact details and shipping address. 4) Select your payment method (TWINT, Visa or Mastercard). 5) Confirm the payment (3D Secure authentication if applicable). 6) You immediately receive a confirmation e-mail with your order summary.

Currency and pricing

All prices are displayed and charged in Swiss francs (CHF). Swiss VAT at the standard rate of 8.1% is already included in all displayed prices. There are no hidden fees, no surcharges and no additional costs. The amount debited matches exactly the total displayed at checkout.

If your payment fails

If your payment is declined, first check that your card details are entered correctly and that your card is authorised for online payments. You can retry with the same payment method or choose a different one. If the problem persists, contact our customer service at contact (at) volterie.com or your bank. No amount is charged in case of a failed transaction.

Protection of your payment data

Your full card details are never stored on our servers. They are processed exclusively by our certified payment service provider, in a secure PCI-DSS-compliant environment. Volterie never has access to your complete card number at any point.

Confirmation and invoicing

A detailed order confirmation is sent by e-mail immediately after payment. This document serves as your invoice and includes item details, VAT and the total amount. Keep it for any future returns or warranty claims.

Shipping

We deliver within Switzerland via Swiss Post using standard delivery at no charge. Order-processing status is available on the tracking page.

Delivery times

The estimated total delivery time is 3 to 14 working days from order confirmation. This includes order preparation and carriage by Swiss Post. Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, excluding federal and cantonal public holidays.

Orders are processed on working days. Preparation generally takes 1 to 3 working days and is included in the stated total delivery time of 3 to 14 working days.

Carrier

All orders are shipped via Swiss Post (standard delivery). This reliable service covers the entire Swiss territory, including mountain regions and rural areas.

Shipping costs

Shipping is completely free for all orders, with no minimum purchase required. No additional charges will apply.

Parcel tracking

After dispatch, the order-status page shows the available processing status for your order. If you have questions after the stated delivery window, contact customer service.

Packaging

Your products are carefully packaged to ensure optimal protection during transit. Where possible, we use eco-friendly packaging materials (recycled cardboard, paper padding) while maintaining full protection for your items.

Delivery addresses

We deliver to any address in Switzerland, including PO boxes. Please make sure your address is complete and correct when ordering (name, street, postcode, city, canton). We do not ship abroad.

Delivery delays

If an order has not been delivered within 14 working days after confirmation, contact contact (at) volterie.com. We will check its status with Swiss Post and explain the applicable next steps.

Returns & refunds

30-day return policy

You have 30 days from receipt of your order to return one or more items, without needing to provide any reason. This commercial return right is in addition to Swiss statutory warranties and does not replace them.

Eligibility conditions

To be accepted for return, the product must be in its original condition: unused, in complete original packaging, with all accessories, labels and documentation included. Reasonable inspection of the product (opening the packaging to check) is permitted and does not affect your right to return.

Return process

1. Contact us at contact (at) volterie.com with your order number (VOLT-…) and the items you wish to return.
2. We will send return instructions within 24 hours. A prepaid label can be provided on request; its cost is deducted from the refund unless the item is defective, not as described, or damaged on delivery.
3. Package the product(s) carefully and drop off the parcel at a Swiss Post office.
4. Once the return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 7 working days.

Return shipping costs

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the product is defective, not as described, or was damaged during delivery. In these cases, we cover all return shipping costs.

Refund

The refund is issued to the original payment method (TWINT, Visa or Mastercard) within 5–7 working days after the return is confirmed. The refunded amount includes the product price and original shipping costs if the entire order is returned.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different model, size or colour, contact our customer service team. We will arrange the exchange as quickly as possible, subject to availability.

Damaged or defective products

If a product arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, contact us upon receipt. After verification, we arrange a return at no cost and offer replacement or refund under the applicable terms.

Non-returnable items

Certain items cannot be returned: personalised items (engraving, marking), and items whose hygiene seal has been opened after delivery. These exceptions are clearly stated on the product page.

Returns after 30 days

After the 30-day period, we can no longer accept returns under our commercial return policy. However, the statutory warranty for defects (2 years) and the Victorinox warranty remain applicable. Contact us for any claim.

Withdrawal form

The 30-day return period is a voluntary contractual policy offered by Volterie. To use it, send a written declaration stating your name, address, order number, receipt date and affected items to contact (at) volterie.com or Volterie, Route d’Ursy 7, 1678 Siviriez, Switzerland.
